"Office Buildings in Finland" presents 14 Finnish office buildings from the present century, the designers of which are among Finland's leading architects. The selection of projects in the book has been made by Reijo Jallinoja, professor of architecture and head of an architect's office. Each building is presented through photographs, plans and technical details, together with the architects' own brief descriptions. The project presentations are complemented by architect Panu Lehtovuori's article on the office building as a 'site of urban innovation'. "Office Buildings in Finland" aspires to create a wide perspective on the various trends in current Finnish office architecture.In the design of the buildings special attention had been given to, for instance, massing, glazed towers, combinations of different facade materials, and high-tech or industrial aesthetics.
